Eurostat reported today that the
first estimates of the eurozone's balance of payments showed a
€23.6 billion surplus in goods trade with the rest of the world
in February 2024, up from +€3.6 billion in February 2023. In
February 2024, the eurozone's exports to the rest of the world
totaled €235.0 billion, up 0.3% from February 2023 (€234.4
billion). Imports from the rest of the world totaled €211.4
billion, down 8.4% from February 2023 (€230.8 billion).
