(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 26 - Italy's Guido Migliozzi is back to
being the top Italian in the world golf rankings after his
French Open win, the third in his career on the DP World Tour.
Thanks to the victory Sunday at Guyancourt near Paris, the
Vicenza-born golfer has risen from 168th to 108th in the
rankings.
He leapfrogged 2018 Open winner Francesco Molinari who fell from
141st to 143rd.
America's Scottie Scheffler still heads the standings ahead of
Norther Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Australia's Cameron Smith,
who recently joined the breakaway Saudi super league. (ANSA).
