Israel's embassy to the Holy See on
Wednesday criticized Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro
Parolin for saying Israel's response to the Hamas massacres on
October 7 was "disproportionate".
"This statement is a deplorable," the embassy said in a
statement.
"Judging the legitimacy of a war without taking into account ALL
the relevant circumstances and data inevitably leads to
erroneous conclusions".
