Italian government health spending
will rise 5.8% in 2024 and then 2% per year over the next
three-year period, 2025-27, the DEF economic and financial
blueprint says.
The tax burden will be 42.1% of GDP in 2024, rising to 42.2% in
2025, said the document.
The government approved the DEF Tuesday.
It will be sent to the EU and then form the basis of the 2025
budget bill, also to be sent to the EU.
