The residence of Ukraine's ambassador
to the Holy See was vandalised with excrement on Thursday night,
sources said Friday.
The vandals succeeded in gaining access to the residence of the
envoy, Andrii Yurash, and covered the entrance door, staircases
and walls with excrement.
In Naples, meanwhile, the Ukrainian consulate in Italy was sent
an envelope containing animal eyes.
Kyiv said Friday that bloody parcels containing animal eyes have
been sent to embassies and consulates in five European
countries: Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Croatia and Italy.
The consulate in Czechia was also sent such a package.
"A well-planned campaign of terror and intimidation of Ukraine's
embassies and consulates is under way," said Foreign Minister
Dmytro Kuleba.
